Emergence of a Painting

Here are the steps to my painting "Red October".  I liked the underpainting so much I almost stopped there.  (I may try that sometime.)

Next I blocked in the trees.

And finally the leaves and undergrowth.

The painting is acrylic on canvas, 24" x 30".
